Casa Luscher-Rasi Model
The chosen location of the properly sunny slope with old trees and a lovely view determined this private villa's architectural concept. The evolution of the project traces our efforts to establish a rapport between the steep slope and the structural typology of the home.
Contrary to custom, the architect worked almost exclusively with models to handle the complex spatiality between indoors and outdoors. In the last stage, all planning and the house consisted only of a partially curved roof on supports, which echoed the topography of the slope. Synthetic curtains on the exterior serve as sunscreens for the glazed facades.
